How to get involved
- You can submit projects for consideration via our Applied Projects submission form
- Your project proposals will be shared with module leaders in advance of the new academic year
- Alternatively you can Get in touch with the Employer Partnerships team to discuss your organisation and potential project ideas, and answer any questions that you might have about the scheme
- If your project is chosen, or we require further information, one of the team will be in touch to discuss the next steps.
We suggest that you submit project proposals as soon as possible before September ahead of Semester One (starting in September) for the greatest opportunity of being chosen, although we continue to accept project proposals up until November ahead of the start of Semester Two (starting in January) depending on volume of projects sourced. If enough projects have been sourced prior to this, then application deadline may be earlier.
Due to the high volume of projects we receive, we are not able to provide proactive updates on the status of projects. You are more than welcome to get in touch with the team directly, who will be happy to provide you with an update.
We cannot guarantee that projects will be chosen or the desired outcome of a project will be met. However, we do have a number of mechanisms in place to provide coordination and management of the projects, such as academic supervision, touch points throughout the project(s) and an Applied Projects point of contact.
I’d like to submit an Applied Project Brief – Any tips?
Initially, we recommended that you take a look at the project areas and project outcomes that we cover, these can be found here;
When writing your project brief on the Project Scoping Form, we advise that you use the following prompts for guidance:
1. What is the issue or problem to be investigated?
2. What is the background of the problem or situation that has prompted this project?
3. What do you visualise the end result or outcome to be?
I still have a few questions – Help!
Please drop a line to a member of our team, we’ll be really happy to answer any questions you may have.
